Real Estate in Playa del Rey
Surf's up! This 70's surfer spot still has plenty
to offer.
Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, this beachfront
section of Los Angeles is a small Oceanside community that was one of the most
popular surfing spots of the 70's. Since then, surfers have moved further north,
but no one can deny the breathtaking vistas that nature has to offer.
Playa del Rey is definitely a close community,
with many homes available within its intimate setting. It's been rezoned and
redesigned over the last few years, to avoid the flight path from LAX; so the
chances of an all night airplane listening party have diminished greatly. Even
better, the city continues to implement programs to improve the quality of life
of its residents.
With some great deals for great homes, it's worth
a visit. You may be surprised by what you might find in Playa del Rey.
Insider Tip: Take a walk on the bridge between
Playa del Rey and the jetty – right on the ocean, no cars allowed.
